Description:

The building is situated in the central part of Pamporovo, immediately next to Hotel Perelik. The hotel has seven floors above 0 elevation and three floors under it – imbedded into the adjoining terrain steeply falling southward. There is a heated passage to Perelik built under the road and the two hotels function as one facility.
A unique architectural image and town-planning accent has been achieved that distinguishes the Orlovets against the mass construction in the complex. The structure of the building is from reinforced concrete without beams with columns, frames and earthquake walls. The foundations are realized by a foundation plate and standing piles under a section of the plate. All rooms and apartments under and above 0 elevation are facing south with a panoramic scope of vision of 180º to the ski tracks, Snezhanka peak with the television tower and the Rozhen observatory. A panorama bar is situated on the top floor with an open terrace facing South, the main entrance with the reception desk is at 0 elevation, together with therestaurant, the shops and the lobby-bar. A fitness center with a pool, sauna, solarium and steam bath is located on the third level under 0 elevation.
The interior solutions are distinctly cleared up in warm tinges, with predominant natural materials – timber sheeting, wooden doors and windows with glasspacket, external timber lining of terraces and concrete structural elements, noncombustible wall-to-wall carpets on the dry floor and an exceptionally high level of acoustic and thermal insulation.
The facades feature wall panels from gneiss stone ornaments dry-mounted on backing thermal insulation of mineral wool. The roof is a sloped reinforced concrete structure with thermal insulation, eaves and it is completely sheathed with copper shingles and snow-retaining accessories. Drain pipes and gutters are made of copper and are heated.
The building is air-conditioned, cooled with chillers in the summer, while its heating is provided from the boiler installation of Hotel Perelik. Continuous power supply is provided also by a local diesel generator.
All connections with the infrastructure of the complex are secure in place – power supply, telephone lines, internet, satellite television, water supply and road connections.
